The PlayStation 5 has been out since November of last year, but PlayStation players are still discovering features that many have overlooked. Specifically, there is a handy and easy way to just turn off the DualSense controller entirely. With the Xbox Series X, Xbox gamers haven't had any adjustment period, and this is because the Xbox Series X UI is largely the same as the Xbox One UI and because the Xbox Series X controller is basically the same thing as the Xbox One controller. For the PS5, Sony not only completely reworked the UI from the PS4, but it released a brand-new controller that's so different it broke the company's DualShock naming convention.
More specifically, if you hold the PS button on the DualSense controller for 10 seconds, it will turn off the controller. This isn't the only DualSense feature many players have overlooked. Did you know that you can mute all audio if you hold down the controller's mute button for a couple of seconds? If you didn't, don't worry, many over on the PS5 Reddit page had no clue either of these features existed, and that's because the PS5 doesn't relay any of this information.

Of course, it's quite possible you already knew both of these handy features existed, but given that the Reddit post revealing them shot to the top of the page, it's safe to assume most of you reading this didn't know about either of these shortcuts, just like everyone one of the 400 people that commented on the post.

How do you create your estimates?
We combine public rankings from iTunes/Google Play with a proprietary model that estimates what each rank translates to in terms of new installs and revenue. We build that model by providing free premium access to top grossing games that anonymously contribute their revenue and install data.
Retention and daily active users estimates use the same data, plus data collected our SDK, which collects data on the behavior of users in a variety of games.
Do I need to pay for each country or app I want to research?
No. Our subscription products are all-you-can-eat. You get access to all the countries we cover, including those that we're going to launch soon, and every app that we have data on. You can also have multiple users using the product.
Do I need to install an SDK or provide access to my app store accounts?
No. We don't require an SDK or app store integration.
How can I qualify for free access to your data?
Share data so we get smarter! Games that share data with us qualify for free access to our data. To qualify for our Developer Plan data, you must currently be on the top grossing apps list for a country that we cover and provide us with Sales (read-only) access to your app store accounts. We use your data anonymously to improve our product for all users.
Games that contribute at least $50,000 in ad spend and performance can qualify for free access to our ad data.
If a game is sharing data with Think Gaming, can I see their stats?
No. All of the data we display is modeled data. Games that share data help us improve those models while their data remains confidential.:
Can I get a free trial?
No. If you wish to evaluate the impact of our data on your business, try a one month subscription. You can cancel your subscription during the first month if it doesn't meet your expectations.
How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Your subscription will continue through the end of the month you've paid for, then it will end.
