Meanwhile, no one is guaranteed against an unexpected turn of events. Even if your life is planned years ahead, you can still find yourself in an unpredictable situation when your future fate depends solely on you. Not on your career, not on your social status or pretty face – just on what you can and can’t do when you are facing a mortal danger. How can you develop survivor’s skills without setting out for a risky trip? Virtual simulator called Raft will harden you against all the dangers!
Adrift in the sea
What are going to do if you find yourself alone amidst the ocean? Imagine that your ship has gone down and you alone have miraculously survived. Now you are drifting on a shaky raft without any idea where you are. From all sides, you are surrounded by water and there is not a sign of land on the horizon. Many people would simply give up in a situation like that, but not you! After all, you can always spot a passing ship or a helicopter and get rescued. Meanwhile, your goal is to make the raft as comfortable and safe as possible so that you could spend an unlimited amount on time on it without the risk of drowning or getting killed by a shark. Look around – you’ll see a lot of debris. At first sight, it seems to be just useless garbage, but you can build plenty of stuff from it. Gradually, the lousy piece of wood you started your journey on will turn into a rather fine sea transport!
Craft to survive
Try combining different materials to craft various kinds of equipment, weapons and even furniture. You’ll be able to expand your raft, build a shed that will protect you from weather mishaps, knock together a table, a chair, even a bed. First, you will only have a steel hook to fish out all the stuff. But you can always craft yourself a better instrument to hunt for resources more effectively. Besides, you are going to need rods for fishing and harpoons for fighting off sharks. Eating and sleeping is an important part of survival, so you’ll have to provide yourself with enough food to last as long as you can. You can even plant a few seeds and grow a small garden to have a supply of fresh fruit in case you get hungry.
Paradise on the water
Let’s agree, living on a raft like this is much like living in your own house! The crafting possibilities are limitless. You can turn it into a several-story villa surrounded with palms – it’s only a matter of time and effort! The only thing that can bother you is the lack of company. But in the virtual reality it’s not that sad. You simply won’t have time to get bored. Build your own paradise on the water and equip it with everything you need for a comfortable, careless and, most importantly, happy life!

Resources are tough to come by at sea: Players will have to make sure to catch whatever debris floats by using their trusty hook and when possible, scavenge the reefs beneath the waves and the islands above. However, thirst and hunger is not the only danger in the ocean… watch out for the man-eating shark determined to end your voyage!
